49er Rotary Park was built in November of 2000 by the generous hands of community volunteers. This public park has a large picnic area, skate park  and a gigantic playground dubbed “Heaven for Kids”. The playground is arguably the best in Tuolumne County with it’s enormous wooden play structure consisting of various tunnels, slides, a climbing wall, monkey bars, tire swings and more. Kids could easily spend hours here without getting bored giving adults the opportunity to relax or gossip with other parents. The playground is open to all during daylight hours only. There is a public restroom and water fountain to allow you to wet your whistle during those hot summer months.

49er Rotary Park is located right next to the Tuolumne County Public Library at 480 Greenley Rd, Sonora, CA.
